Imelda Forsberg has a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) and a dual Post-Master's Degree in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her 30+ years clinical experience includes Emergency Room and Urgent Care. In both clinical setting, she has first hand experience in acute mental health crisis, medication management, and strong medical background. She has counselled countless patients about smoking cessation, and behavioral modification. She believes that each individual can develop skills to manage their mental health when given options and resources. She understands the value of listening, that each individual wanted to be validated. She specializes in Alzheimer's Disease and care, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and so forth.
She is also a nursing professor who empowers her students to achieve academic success through cognitive, behavioral, and emotional preparedness. Her passion in teaching, helped students achieve success in licensure and certification exams.
